Three things that shape a nanny search in Raleigh
Year-round school calendars
Many Wake County public schools run on a year-round calendar with breaks, called track-outs, spread through the year. Track assignments usually come out in the spring. If your kids are on a year-round track, we'll write a schedule that covers school weeks and track-out weeks, so your nanny's hours stay steady and your coverage doesn't have gaps.
Driving is part of the job
School, practice, and appointments are rarely in the same part of Raleigh. Most of our Raleigh roles involve driving, so we check driving records during screening and help you settle the details up front: whose car, mileage reimbursement, insurance, and car seats.
You become a North Carolina employer
A nanny is your household employee, not a contractor. In 2026, federal payroll taxes apply once you pay $3,000 in a year, and North Carolina unemployment insurance applies once you pay $1,000 in a quarter. A full-time nanny crosses both quickly. What does Triangle Nannies charge Raleigh families?

Can you find a bilingual nanny or one with specialized experience in Raleigh?
Yes.
